kmeng:

I walked the Parikrama Path backwards while the moon was still out and the sun was slowly rising on the other side. It was the perfect balance of orange and blue and the midpoint between time. I’ve seen this transition of time numerous times before from sunsets and sunrises but I’ve never felt so intrigued. At that exact time while I was in the middle of the path, everyone in the world would either be rising to a new day or settling into the night.

oh kaht, your tales of jet-settery and pictures straight out of Nat Geo are making me want to travel the world.
(note to self: am freaking going to do so this summer/next year. with roommates, friends, family, and by myself. all of it. I’m gonna!! I have to!! my only and last chance! how depressing.)
